in 2000, WildChild Art Gallery, located in Matlacha, Florida
(pronounced Matt-la-shay), is a contemporary art gallery
representing the works of over 120 southwest Florida
artists. We are the premier South West Florida Gallery
for
Artist's
Demonstrations and Workshops.

WildChild Art Gallery

“The New WildChildren of Matlacha”
featuring new gallery artists:
Painter Megan Kissinger has a fascination
with patterns, colors and forms that occur in
the natural world. She works in acrylics on
canvas as well as sculpture. 
Rhonda Long,
working in three mediums - oils, pastels
and pencil - captures in her motifs the
spirit of women across the world.

Oil and acrylic artist ,
Carla Wormington,
uses a palette knife to create abstract and
representational works.
Acrylic artist, Mimi
Little, creates beautiful images that
jump with the colors and motifs of tropical
settings.

WildChild Art Gallery
features
the designs, sculptures and fountains in copper, brass and
steel by artist/owner Peggy McTeague.
In addition to Peggy's
metalwork, the gallery also shows works in metal by Vinnie
Lewis, Ann Laird, John Smith, Scott Lampittas well as
beautiful works in Bronze by Martha Sulfridge,
In further exploring the gallery's
wide variety of artwork, you will find Wood Carvings by Ted Appel,
who specialize in birds of the wild and Jan Bailey, whose carved
local fish will delight you.
Woodturnings
of beautiful bowls, vases and ornaments by Bill Sullivan, Jamie
Rouch and George Mosko grace the gallery. And Wooden boxes of all
shapes and sizes created by Jay Benton are made from exotic woods
from around the world.
The gallery represents the hand
thrown pottery of artists Suly Pritchard and Kate & Ed Coleman and
Chuck Koucky. To enchant you further be sure to see the whimsical
clay creatures by the late artist Jim Lawson.
Unique and original jewelry designs
will take your breath away. Jewelry artists Hank Geller and Liane
Redpath create
beautiful works in sterling silver and gold while Gabriele Franklin
masters whimsical glass bead jewelry.
Fun, fanciful painted boxes and
furniture will dress up any room. Don't miss the enchanting fairy
dolls by Ann Schroeder.
To adorn your walls, you will find
photography by Cindy Cone, oils, acrylics, watercolors and pen &
inks by Joyce Malone,
Barbara Beckwith Schneider,
Jon Ferrentino, Janet Mach Dutton and Nancy Tome to mention
only a few.
