Established in 2000, WildChild Gallery is a Contemporary Art gallery representing the works of owner Peggy McTeague and over 120 Florida Artists. The Gallery build is a Historic fishing cottage located in the heart of Matlacha ( pronounced Matt-la-shay), a Caloosa word meaning "water to the chin".

The vision of WildChild is to have a place where people could come enjoy a unique experience of art in all its forms. To be able to Learn about and purchase art created by Local, National and International Artists. Normally there is a gap between artist and art buyer. Our hope is to bring the tow together. We are always looking for Creative Souls and Artists to participate in this mixture somewhere between co-op and the normal gallery and for new marketing opportunities to bring in art buyers and Collectors. As with many of the things we do here at WildChild Gallery, we start down a winding path that sometimes turns mid-stride into a two lane road never knowing where it will lead us, but that is half the fun. So if you haven't come out to enjoy the little town of Matlacha yet ... it's only a little off the beaten path. Come experience Our little piece of Joy ... WildChild Art Gallery.

Hours:

Wednesday thru Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
